Beauties

Hello everyone, I really enjoyed paper piecing this card today.  This is a digi stamp from A Day for Daisies, their 'Beauties' collection - and she really is a Diva don't you think?!
Followed the Spectrum Noir tutorial from the SN website to colour the hair and skin, which helped tremendously.  The papers are from Pink Petticoat, ice-cream doodles, as is the sentiment.  The flowers are from the SU Petite Petals punch (much used), and used TH distress ink 'broken china' to go around the edges.  As I have used a snippet of black card for matting, and recycled the ribbon from a gift package, I shall be entering this card into the Snippet Playground.  I wonder what all the playground pals are up to? *shudder to think, lol*.

Happy Crafting.

  2. Oh Lynn, this is fabulous. So elegant and wonderful paper piecing - where do you find these beautiful images?!

As for the Playground, Parsnip is having a nervous breakdown to accompany me, the new guard dog is going mad and chasing the iguana round the place - and Mrs A is trying to dispose of her huge barrel of paraffin 'cos she thought we'd have fire eaters and not fire MEN. So all is normal here really :)

Hope things are good with you, been wondering.

    Hugs

  5. Hi Lynn thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - so good to have someone popping by and leaving a message. Had to visit you too. Love this card. That skirt on the lady is fabulous - really great for colouring. You did a great job following the tutorial - think I may have to investigate that as my colouring is very hit and miss. Ann xxx
