Hi there, hope you all had a glorious Bank Holiday - hubby and I spent the time in the garden; bliss! Yes, I know it is Tuesday, although at work I have had to keep reminding myself - but I made my card last night. And why 'Made Easy'? Well, Mr. Mojo had gone walkies, so I picked up my pile of Quick Cards Made Easy mags and had a look through - this is what I came up with.
I used one of the fab Pink Petticoat stamps free this month, but I printed my backing paper from my PP files - it should have been 'celery', but the ink was running out and it turned out yellow, but as it happens it was a happy accident :-) The rectangular panel is a mixture of three washitape designs which were free from another mag ages ago, and I used the quick bargello technique which was featured in a previous Quick Cards. The chipboard heart fitted in with the gingham on the panel, another freebie from the mag, I think last month - the sentiment is PP also - there you are, job done!
As I have used up bits and pieces, I am entering this card into the Snippets challenge over at Pixie's Crafty Workshop - hope the ice-cream van is still in the playground!
Hi Lynn - posted your prize this afternoon :)) Well done with the win!

Great happy accident with the printing too. That background looks perfect with your image.
Have a great day.

My printer never prints the colours as shown so I always get odd shades come out which can be quite interesting at times. Your card is an excellent example of how to use your stash and snippets up. Love the colours even if not at first intended.
