Butterfly Challenge #53

Hello everyone, I do hope that you are enjoying your Bank Holiday.  I have just got back from taking the dog for  a bracing walk - so windy in the park!

On to my make for Mrs. A's Butterfly challenge, which is T for texture, teal and butterfly/ies.

I decided to use my new embossing folder and die for this one.  The emboss folder was in the Crafters Inspiration 10 magazine from Crafter's Companion.  It is a narrow die for the diamond press machine.  I just matched up the pattern and embossed along the panel. Some of the emboss got flattened, but I think that just adds to the texture.  The diecut panel is one from the Die-Cutting magazine.  I cut two panels and snipped out the corner die to make the four corner frame, and gave the butterfly a lift.  The little flower on the side is a Die-sire die.  Thanks for looking. Lynn x

  1. A lovely card - I've just bought the magazine with this die but haven't used it yet. I like how you've used it on your card.

  2. Like both of these textures that you have created using both an embossing folder and a die cut. The colour is also perfect. Thankyou for fluttering by my challenge where your card will be entered twice. Hugs Mrs A.

  3. Love the CAS look of this

Thanks for entering the Butterfly challenge this time, Kim guest DT x

  4. Thank you for popping over to visit me! You've made a pretty card as well with this die. Clever idea for the corners.

  5. Hi Lynn

Fabulous embossing and die work .. I love the butterfly and splash of colour from the sentiment.

Many thanks for all your suggestions yesterday .. .. one of them was already top of my own list for Wednesday .. .. so you have confirmed it will be a good theme. Thanks for that.

Hope you had a good bank holiday weekend and all that chocolate is out of your system now!! LOL!!!

    Love Jules xx
