I have used the soon to be retired stamp from Season of Joy stampset, coloured with poppy parade, peach parfait and pear pizzazz markers. I machine stitched in pillar box red. The theme at Simply Stampin' Challenge is to use sewing on your card or faux stitching, and as I have used a Stampin' Up stamp and markers I feel that this card qualifies. As this card is the third one to be made from this design paper, it is definitely using up all the snippets and so this will be entered into Pixies Snippet challenge #39.
Thanks for looking. x
Ooo! Lovely card there and well done with the real sewing. Nice alternate colours for a Christmas card.

ReplyDeleteOooer Lynn, this is gorgeous - love the colours you used and the stitching is a super finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteIf you have any of Mrs A's doughnuts, remember to wipe you hands before going on the swings :)

Lovely card Lynn, fabulous real stitching and I love how you've added sparkle around the white panel, very festive!

LOVE this card. LOVE that set of stamps.
ReplyDeleteCan't sew to save my life though . . . so am always impressed by those that can.
I have sugar all over my hands from Mrs A's doughnuts . . . fetch the wet wipes!

Hi Lynn, thought I had previously commented, but don't see my name, so here I go Uh-gin! This is a lovely card, the snowflakes and stitches really set it off. Thanks for the heads up on the retiring item. Will have to check with my local SU lady. Just had an email that my last order from the new catalog is in. What fun. TFS your beautiful card. Hugs.
