Hi there, here is my card for Mrs. A's butterfly challenge, and this time around it is to use washi tape on your card, as well as the butterfly/butterflies. I don't use a lot of washi tape, but I did get some from SU when it was on weekly deal. Here I have used the ' hello honey' colour, and the 'peek-a-boo' method I found on You Tube, which I pinned to my board, and you can find the link HERE.
The banner is a stamp and die cut from Clearly Besotted. Now, what I was really pleased about, is that this card turned out larger than my A6 envelope, so I had the chance to play with the new envelope calculator on Carole's blog, and the link is HERE. It works!
Hope you enjoy the video, and get to play with the envelope creator. See you soon. Lynn x
Not seen wide sheets of washi tape before. This looks great. I like the effect it gives. Love those SU colours too. Thankyou for fluttering by my challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mrs A - have not seen the washi sheets. Very effect on your sunny little bird house, and love that embossed background. All these colors created quite a summery feel to your pretty card. TFS & thanks for the link too. Hugs
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love your colour combo! I like how you used the washi tape with this technique - so clever! Thank you for joining us at the Butterfly Challenge!
